In 2018 I purchased the hard copy of this book. Just two weeks ago, I picked it up and began to read it. I'm a firm believer that God gives us what we need at the time we need it--And I so really needed this book.I've read many, many books and I have to say this book is the most profound book I've ever read. Every single paragraph provokes meaning, promotes meditation, moves one into examination. It breaks the boundaries of self and ego. It's a genuine examination and an intense understanding of God, creation and the creation of each one of us as unique with individuality. It taps one into this phenomena of your uniqueness in union with God.My journey has been altered by what Rabbi Shapiro has to share. and I'm only in the beginning of Chapter 2, which so far has taken me 2 weeks to get through because I journal my thoughts and intentions.I have purchased the Kindle copy of the book, so I can copy and share the Rabbi's words with others. I also want to do a group study on this book. The only other book that hit me this hard, is Henri Nouwen's, "Discernment, Reading the Signs of Daily Life." And our ZOOM book study was astounding.
